Madagascar’s leading supplier of luxury artisanal raffia items for top global brands
Interview with Faranah Goulamaly, President of Les Ateliers Feel Good, who reveals why her company is the leading supplier of luxury artisanal raffia items for top international brands.
What makes your company unique?
Our uniqueness lies in our agility and our ability to quickly adapt to clients’ requests, even the most unexpected ones. This flexibility allows us to meet the high standards of luxury brands around the world.
Why the name Feel Good?
Feel Good is more than just a name; it’s a mindset that we foster across all the companies in our group. It embodies our core values: excellence in customer service, well-being, joy, and women’s empowerment. These values are reflected in our daily actions and long-term initiatives, such as building a school that trains hundreds of women each year in artisanal crafts.
How did you manage to work with major luxury groups?
Having grown up in the luxury industry, I have a deep understanding of the expectations of these brands. My experience with high-quality standards and word-of-mouth has helped build our reputation and establish strong partnerships.
A wide range of raffia products
At Les Ateliers Feel Good, the leading supplier of luxury artisanal raffia items, we offer a wide range of raffia creations, catering to the needs of fashion and home decor brands. Our creations include high-end handbags, hats, clutches, baskets, and home decor pieces. Each item is carefully crafted, combining traditional Madagascan craftsmanship with modern designs to deliver unique and elegant products.
What is your production capacity?
We have a production capacity of 1,000 pieces per week. The main challenge was to maintain high quality standards while producing in large quantities, and we have successfully met this challenge.
Do the brand designers create the models?
They work closely with our design office, which guides and advises them based on our expertise in raffia and crochet. A team of over 30 artisans is available year-round to create prototypes according to the designers’ visions.
Do you only serve fashion brands?
No, we also work with interior design brands and home decor companies for all their needs related to raffia items. I am passionate about tableware and home decoration, and I thoroughly enjoy serving this discerning clientele.
